Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Manager, Patient Safety Operations to lead Pharmacovigilance staff in a remote capacity. You will oversee case processing, signal management, and safety medical writing, ensuring compliance with regulations and SOPs while maintaining strong client communication.

You will drive team development, optimize safety workflows, manage budgets, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve safety services for clinical research and patient protection.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical, regulatory, and medical safety services knowledge.
• Experience in pharmacovigilance operations and clinical research methodologies.
• Proven line management and staff development skills.
• Proven client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
• Awareness of automation/AI in pharmacovigilance.

Responsibilities

• Manage Patient Safety staff and coordinate resource allocation.
• Provide coaching, development plans, and performance feedback.
• Ensure work meets SLAs, KPIs for quality and compliance.
• Oversee safety processes and respond to urgent workload.
• Support pharmacovigilance automation tool implementations.
