You will work with diagnostic and surgical teams to ensure timely appointments and accurate information for each patient visit. The role requires at least 1 year of referral coordination experience, proficiency with EMR systems, and strong communication skills to maintain patient privacy and compliant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in referral coordination related to insurance provider tier levels, authorizations, and out-of-network procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals and scheduling for physician, hospital, and outpatient services.
• Coordinate insurance authorization and provide guidance on coverage.
• Collaborate with offices and hospitals to ensure timely, accurate appointments and tests.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary payor approvals.
• Enter demographics and physician information in EMR; obtain medical records.
