Job summary

Guardant Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Navigation Specialist I - Screening to support the screening process and ensure timely sample collection.

You will coordinate with patients, providers, vendors, and sales teams, and document communications in Salesforce. This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits; a bachelor's degree, 2+ years in healthcare customer service, and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; high school diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service within pharma, diagnostics, medical device, biotech, or healthcare settings.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams in an operationally complex, multi-product environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing procedures, policies, and priorities.
• Flexibility with respect to working hours based on client and operational needs.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
• Occasional travel to Guardant Health offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient screening activities and communicate with patients, providers, vendors, and sales teams.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and Salesforce CRM to ensure smooth navigation.
• Build and maintain relationships with patients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Attend territory-specific meetings with sales and client services to align needs.
• Document all patient and provider communications in Salesforce and other systems.
• Follow SOPs for patient navigation workflows and monitor case progress.
• Ensure SLAs are met and escalate issues as needed.
• Demonstrate problem-solving to resolve escalated situations.
• Support continuous improvement of navigation workflows and efficiency.
