BayCare Health System is seeking a Patient Financial Representative to manage patient accounts, billing, collections, and cash posting while delivering excellent customer service. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and timely resolution of balances in a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Accounts Receivable and Medicare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient accounts and perform billing and collection activities.
• Post and reconcile payments and cash applications.
• Document account activity and maintain accurate account records.
• Research, resolve, and respond to patient inquiries regarding balances, payments, and insurance coverage.
• Review and follow up on Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payer responses.
• Implement billing guideline changes and identify payer-specific trends.
• Maintain operational reports, inventories, and equipment maintenance tracking.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
