Job summary

• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial counseling regarding payment arrangements and assistance programs.
• Screen patients for eligibility for Co-Pay and Foundation programs.
• Document patient enrollment and billing activities accurately in EMR systems.
• Communicate outcomes and actions to appropriate departments.
• Obtain signatures for financial assistance applications and route for processing.
• Support patient accounting with enrollment and coordination tasks.
• Handle calls and referrals to community services as needed.
• Adhere to organizational policies and ensure standardization of function.
• Enroll patients in drug programs when coverage is lacking.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical resources and assistance programs.
