Qualifications

• Proven insurance knowledge including medical terminology, ICD9/ICD10 and CPT codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-certification and prior authorization with insurers and providers.
• Estimate patient financial responsibility based on treatment plans and insurance benefits.
• Explain payment plans, waivers, and assistance applications to patients clearly.
• Assist patients with applications for financial aid and grant programs.
• Communicate with providers and staff to ensure timely completion of required forms.
