Job summary

The James Clinic seeks a Patient Experience Specialist to be the voice of our practice and support our clinics by answering calls and educating patients on our full range of services. You will join our Patient Engagement Team and have opportunities to earn more through additional duties.

In this fast-paced, hybrid role, you’ll multitask across platforms, deliver calm, confident service, and help patients navigate care options while maintaining accurate EMR documentation and timely communication

Qualifications

• Strong phone experience is required.
• Medical and EMR experience are required to be successful.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Comfort working independently without constant supervision.
• Reliability and consistency—attendance matters here.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and warmth.
• Educate patients and potential patients on clinic services and programs.
• Schedule appointments across providers and locations.
• Order supplements and assist with patient requests.
• Download and distribute lab reports.
• Update patient charts and documentation in our EMR.
• Respond to patient messages and letters through the EMR.
• Navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously without losing accuracy.
