Job summary

knownwell is a remote-first healthcare company delivering obesity care through in-clinic and virtual services. We are seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to be the first point of contact, addressing inquiries, coordinating care, and ensuring a smooth patient journey across services.

You will handle incoming and outbound calls, assist with onboarding, schedule appointments, document interactions in the EHR, and escalate complex cases as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical scheduling, patient access, or healthcare call center environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent multitasking and time management in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with EHR platforms (Athena preferred).
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume patient calls and document interactions.
• Schedule, reschedule, and modify patient appointments across services.
• Coordinate care referrals and follow-up visits as directed by providers.
• Document all patient interactions in the EHR and track outreach attempts.
• Escalate clinical questions or urgent concerns to the care team when needed.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Follow standardized workflows to maintain compliance and service levels.
