Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Services Specialist for the Patient Engagement team. This full-time, variable schedule role is remote, supporting patient access across Providence St. Joseph Health regions and provider networks.

You will engage patients, navigate appointments, provide tier 1 technical support for health apps, and be a key information resource while upholding Providence's mission and values.

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• 2 years experience interacting with and engaging customers virtually over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, coordinated access to facilities, institutes, and clinics.
• Foster and nurture relationships with existing patients and those seeking treatment.
• Support 'find a physician' navigation, scheduling appointments and classes, and assisting with health applications.
• Provide tier 1 technical support with patient health applications.
• Serve as an entry point and informational resource for patients entering the health system.
