Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Services Specialist for the Patient Engagement Center (PEC). This full-time, variable shift role involves remote work with on-site needs as part of a patient-centered team, handling access to clinics and scheduling, while delivering tier 1 technical support for patient health applications.

You will engage with patients, build relationships, assist with physician navigation, and contribute to a high-touch, personalized service experience across Providence regions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• 2 years experience interacting with and engaging customers virtually over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, coordinated access to the network of facilities, institutes and clinics.
• Foster and nurture relationships with existing patients and those seeking treatment.
• Assist with 'find a physician' navigation, scheduling appointments and classes.
• Provide tier 1 technical support with patient health applications and act as an informational resource for patients.
