Hey Jane is hiring a detail-oriented, human-centered Patient Care Advocate for a remote part-time role with required weekend hours. The position offers an hourly range of $30–$33, with weekend differential pay for eligible shifts, and focuses on compassionate patient service in reproductive health.

The role involves handling treatment questions, coordinating care, verifying insurance, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records while supporting patients through sensitive health issues.

Qualifications

• Healthcare background (MA, PCA, CNA, or similar clinical or patient-facing role) with 1+ years of abortion care experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working across in-clinic and remote environments.
• Experience providing trauma-informed care in stressful moments.
• Skilled at using online tools to deliver care and communicate with patients.

Responsibilities

• Answering patient questions related to treatment, logistics, and next steps.
• Troubleshooting patient concerns related to shipping, refunds, scheduling, and care coordination.
• Tracking patients through their care journey and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Checking, documenting, and reporting insurance eligibility information.
• Maintaining accurate documentation within the EMR while adhering to HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Balancing multiple priorities while staying grounded, communicative, and reliable to both patients and teammates.
