Job summary

Labcorp Genetics is hiring a Customer Service Support Representative – Remote to handle inbound and outbound calls about patient accounts and billing inquiries. You will assist patients with payment options, including payment plans, and collaborate with providers and insurers to resolve questions with empathy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and healthcare call center experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3 years or more healthcare related call center experience.
• Preferred: Associates degree and bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience with XIFIN and healthcare billing optional.
• Ability to explain billing and coverage to patients clearly.

Responsibilities

• Answer high volume of inbound calls from patients, doctor's offices, and insurers.
• Make outbound calls to resolve patient AR and inquiries.
• Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances.
• Use multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries on the phone.
• Maintain performance goals and complete training.
• Explain billing information clearly and professionally.
