Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a PBS team member to review and resolve guarantor account balances, handling inquiries by phone, email, or Epic in-basket requests.

You will work with HB Resolute and PB Resolute modules, verify demographics, insurance information, and payments, while maintaining HIPAA privacy and delivering excellent customer service. Remote work options are available, with standard workflows across payers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Epic billing systems knowledge preferred.
• 1–3 years relevant experience in customer service or healthcare collections strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guarantor and patient inquiries across denials, billing, COB, and demographic verifications.
• Review and resolve account balances and payments using Epic HB/PB Resolute and related tools.
• Document interactions and actions in billing systems to maintain audit trails.
• Collaborate with Coding, Third Party Billing, Revenue Control and practice managers as needed.
