Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Central Billing Office. This remote role requires on-site training; hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM.

The position will handle patient calls about accounts from the Central Billing Office in Latham, NY. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, at least one year in a call center, and familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance plans.
• Skill in using computer programs and applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer and research incoming phone calls from patients and answer questions, inquiries, and concerns regarding their accounts.
• Assume responsibility for initial patient contact and follow-up.
• Work with AR Specialist on patient billing and credit issues.
• Ensure positive experience for patient on behalf of CCP.
• Identify and correct patient account inaccuracies.
• Post credit card payments to the patients account.
