Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Patient Billing Representative for a fully remote role that supports an Epic transition within healthcare revenue cycle operations. The position emphasizes patient billing, insurance navigation, and outstanding customer service.

This contract role can be performed from home, with a base in the San Antonio, Texas area for coordination purposes. You will handle billing inquiries, EOBs, deductibles, and Medicare questions, while researching accounts and updating insurance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare billing/customer service experience.
• 3+ years of Epic experience within revenue cycle/business office operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with billing, EOB, deductible, Medicare, and insurance questions.
• Research accounts, resolve basic billing issues, and update insurance information.
• Handle high-volume calls while providing compassionate customer service.
