Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Epic PB Claims Analyst to support Professional Billing workflows and system initiatives. The role requires hands-on Epic PB Claims experience and a current certification, with a focus on collaborating with billing, revenue cycle, and technical teams.

This is a fully remote contract position based out of Johnson City, TN, offering pay of $80.00–$90.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits outline.

Qualifications

• Current Epic PB Claims certification is required.
• Hands-on experience supporting Epic Professional Billing Claims.
• Strong understanding of professional billing and revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience with Epic claims configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and optimization.
• Ability to analyze complex billing and claims issues and translate needs into Epic solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize Epic Professional Billing (PB) Claims functionality and workflows.
• Configure and troubleshoot claim processing, edits, workqueues, billing rules, and related PB functionality.
• Analyze claim issues and identify root causes related to configuration or operations.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, billing, coding, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Assist with system enhancements, upgrades, testing, validation, and production support.
• Support claims workflows through the billing lifecycle from creation to follow-up.
• Develop and execute testing plans to ensure changes meet requirements.
• Create and maintain system and workflow documentation.
• Provide SME recommendations on Epic PB Claims best practices and optimization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional Epic teams when workflows intersect other areas.
