Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Remote Full-time Billing Representative to service customer accounts, ensure timely remittance, and resolve billing issues from anywhere in the US.

You will interact with payers, read medical terminology, edit and resubmit claims, and document activity in the ERP system while upholding accurate, compliant billing.

Strong communication and attention to detail are essential; benefits include medical, PTO, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to practice proper phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Identifies and resolves patient billing complaints.
• Handles customer collection calls.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurances HCPC/ICD-9 codes.

Responsibilities

• Service customer needs by accurately billing accounts and assuring timely remittance.
• Follow-up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.
• Document activities in ERP system accurately and timely.
• Ensure billing activity is handled correctly and claims are submitted properly.
• Edit and resubmit claims for payment accuracy.
• Prepare and review clean claims for submission to insurances.
