Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Two years computer experience and strong customer service skills.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience, medical terminology, and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Resolves complex regulatory and commercial accounts.
• Analyzes EOBs to problem-solve outstanding accounts and manage refunds.
• Investigates and researches outstanding balances with peers, vendors, and patients.
• Collaborates with facility peers to resolve edits or obtain information needed to collect balances.
• Identifies root causes of missing payments and supports timely resolution of accounts.
• Generates letters to patients for COBs or to obtain additional information.
