Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Senior Representative Patient Account Collect to join our Patient Financial Services team. This full-time, remote position focuses on collecting, reconciling, and resolving complex patient accounts.

You will review EOBs, balance adjustments, and communicate with patients, payers, and hospital departments to ensure accurate billing processes. Ideal candidates have 5 years of billing/collections experience and at least 18 months working with patient accounts.

Qualifications

• 5 years Billing or collections preferred.
• 18 months patient accounts experience required.
• 18 months billing, collection or Medicare/Commercial billings required.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles and collects on patient accounts.
• Reviews EOBs and denials, assists with appeals when needed.
• Researches accounts, balances payments and applies adjustments.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and supports department procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients and insurance payers.
