Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients.

You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, and register new patients in the EMR (EPIC) while maintaining patient privacy and delivering exceptional service in a remote work setting. The role requires a High School Diploma, strong verbal and written communication, and at least one year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance setting.
• Prior use of EMR systems preferred (EPIC).
• Demonstrates strong self-management in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and courteously.
• Handle high-volume inbound calls while working remotely.
• Verify and update insurance information and demographics.
• Register new patients in the EMR.
• Document patient requests in the EMR (EPIC) accurately.
• Address patient inquiries and escalate urgent concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
