Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, manage check-in/out, and handle incoming calls with professionalism. The role includes cross-training for coverage across reception areas and travel to other clinics as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, HIPAA compliance, and at least one year of experience in a medical setting; EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out process efficiently.
• Answer calls regarding appointment times, patient requests and general inquiries.
• Review patient charts for accuracy prior to appointments and ensure required information is included.
• Perform scanning and sorting within the EMR system.
• Verify and update insurance information with patients.
• Collect patient payments.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.
