Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 1 year of related office or retail experience with direct customer contact.
• EMR and HIS/MIS platforms experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect co-pay and deductible amounts at time of service.
• Document and verify demographic information; obtain necessary signatures.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Identify uninsured or underinsured patients and refer to Financial Counselor.
• Coordinate registration across HIS systems and verify insurance coverage.
