Job summary

Anaqua, Inc. is seeking a Docketing QA Specialist to support US and international IP prosecution teams. This fully remote role lets you work from any US location.

You will monitor communications, update records, and ensure QA standards are applied while collaborating with a legal team and paralegals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years patent experience, preferably in a docketing environment.
• Expertise in IP filing and prosecution in US, PCT, EP and other major jurisdictions.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• Must be able to work remotely in the United States.
• Experience with ANAQUA and PATTSY; FIP a plus.
• Experience working in docketing QA is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor communications from outside counsel, foreign agents, PTOs for timely review.
• Review docketing communications for PTO deadlines and bibliographic data.
• Update records with bibliographic information from PTO documents and filed responses.
• Update tasks with deadlines or closure as provided in PTO documents and responses.
• Provide assistance to client and paralegals with US and foreign prosecution projects.
• Ensure consistent Anaqua QA in the review and processing of incoming communications.
• Use IP resources to identify and resolve discrepancies in applications or data.
