Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Patent Attorney to handle drafting and prosecution of patent applications for wireless and cellular technologies. The role offers substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and a chance to work on sophisticated portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a J.D.

from an ABA-accredited school, U.S. bar admission, USPTO registration, and 2–5 years of patent experience in a technical field such as electrical engineering or computer science.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and a strong technical background are required.
• Active bar admission in the United States and USPTO registration are required.
• Engineering degree enables understanding of cellular/wireless tech and patent claims.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications in wireless and cellular tech.
• Coordinate foreign prosecution with international counsel on global portfolios.
• Prepare responses to Office Actions and manage prosecution deadlines.
• Collaborate with inventors and in-house counsel to shape patent protection.
• Develop patent strategy with partners and other practitioners.
