Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Partnership Management to support School Assessment projects. You will coordinate with customers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction across programs.

You will manage the project lifecycle, maintain plans and documentation, and identify improvements to reduce costs while preserving quality. A Bachelor’s degree and PM experience are required or implied with PMI principles knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in a project management role.
• PMP certification or demonstrate PMI principles. (Preferred)
• Flexibility in the workplace.
• Ability to make decisions based upon limited information.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Significant experience with customer service and project management.
• Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal resources and customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service and be responsive to questions and requests.
• Serve as a point-of-contact to customer and cross-functional teams for day-to-day execution.
• Interpret and meet customer expectations to ensure outstanding satisfaction.
• Manage project life cycle from initiate to close.
• Maintain project management plan, requirements, schedule, and docs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors and vendors to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables.
• Support SOWs and contracts and manage changes to scope and costs.
• Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements and monitor changes.
