Job summary

The District Council of Madison, Inc., Society of St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist to administer bi-weekly payroll, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

The role reports to the Senior Director of HR and works with HR Generalist to update employee records in the HRIS system. The position interacts with the Accounting Department for payroll reporting and reconciliation, handles deductions, and supports year-end activities while

Qualifications

• Must have payroll processing experience using an HRIS system.
• Intermediate Excel skills and basic accounting knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using HRIS/payroll system.
• Review timecards for accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Enter payroll changes and adjustments in master HRIS records.
• Generate payroll reports and support year-end tasks.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll postings.
