Remote Worker LTD. in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Part Time Payroll Officer to support schools and MATs with monthly payroll and pension administration.

You will ensure staff are paid accurately and on time, and will update pay scales, pension rates, NI rates, and tax thresholds while maintaining GDPR compliance. The role requires a degree or payroll qualification and experience in payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level and/or holds a relevant payroll qualification.
• Has previous experience in payroll processing (education sector experience is a bonus).
• Possesses a solid understanding of HMRC requirements, including Tax, NI, and statutory deductions.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of customers' monthly payroll operations from start to finish.
• Ensuring all staff are paid correctly and within specified deadlines.
• Updating the payroll system with current pay scales, pension rates, NI rates, and tax thresholds.
• Calculating pay adjustments, including holiday pay for leavers and statutory payments.
