This is a remote opportunity for an organization based in San Francisco, CA (preference for candidates in California working on Pacific Time).

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you an experienced accountant looking for your next contract opportunity? This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment and enjoys a blend of payroll and accounting responsibilities. In this position, you will support full-cycle accounting operations, payroll processing, and financial reporting.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This temporary opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $35–$42/hour, depending on experience, with a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. The assignment is anticipated to last approximately 3 months, with potential for extension. This role provides valuable exposure to payroll, accounting operations, and audit support within a respected nonprofit organization.
