Job summary

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of professional library experience, preferably in higher education.
• Experience providing research/reference services and library instruction or user training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with online library databases and common productivity software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as WUC’s Librarian of Record.
• Respond to student and faculty inquiries within a set timeframe.
• Assist users with accessing online databases and resources.
• Review library policies and documentation periodically.
• Provide basic library orientation or training when asked.
• Maintain records of reference inquiries and training activities.
• Support accreditation reviews and related documentation.
