Job summary

Gastro Care Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to support centralized scheduling for physicians, APPs, and CRNAs across markets. This part-time, fully remote role focuses on building schedules, optimizing coverage, and ensuring patient access through efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has healthcare scheduling or practice operations experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Minimum of 2 years in healthcare scheduling or related operations.
• Experience with scheduling systems, EMRs, or related tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain 3- and 6-month provider schedules across markets.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly schedule changes due to availability and PTO.
• Ensure provider coverage across clinic, procedures, and call.
• Review schedules to identify gaps, conflicts and capacity constraints.
• Coordinate schedule changes across multiple markets and locations.
• Coordinate CRNA coverage (W-2, PRN, locum) as needed.
• Analyze scheduling data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare routine scheduling reports for leadership.
• Support standardization of centralized scheduling processes.
