ProSidian, a Management and Operations Consulting Firm based in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Part-Time (Fractional) Bookkeeper to assist with journal entries and QuickBooks items. The role supports monthly duties on an as-needed basis, maintains accurate financial records, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

The Bookkeeper reports to the small business operations manager and collaborates with the owner and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA is a plus.
• Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple entities under different umbrellas.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and transaction collection; maintain financial records.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
• Prepare annual tax returns and liaise with external accountants.
• Generate monthly financial reports (P/L, balance sheet).
• Post journal entries in QuickBooks and ensure timely accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow; monitor budgets.
