Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time Chaplain to serve employees and their families. The role is remote in field-based settings, with visits to client worksites and weekly contact to provide spiritual support and guidance.

Responsibilities include delivering pastoral care, making hospital or home visits, and coordinating with clients to meet spiritual and emotional needs in a respectful, confidential manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting.
• Able to listen and interact with clients, employees, and families; deliver community presentations.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular visits to company worksites (usually weekly) to interact with employees and build relationships of trust and friendship.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for family issues, counseling, and referrals as needed.
• May assist in planning or attending funerals and provide follow-up support during grief periods.
• Represents the chaplain team in communications with clients and employees; participates in new employee orientation.
