Job summary

Virtual Service Operations (VSO) is seeking an experienced AI Platform Integration Engineer for a part-time, remote role in the United States. You will support integration of AI services, MCP capabilities, and API-based interconnections within an enterprise platform.

Responsibilities include MCP server hosting, usage metering, rate limiting, content-control integration, and coordination across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in software/cloud/platform engineering.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM gateway concepts (model routing, token usage, rate limiting, guardrails).
• Experience deploying MCP servers or similar integrations exposing APIs to AI apps.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Bedrock or SageMaker).

Responsibilities

• Support integration of enterprise services with an existing AI Gateway.
• Configure AI service connectivity, including model routing and API integrations.
• Deploy and operate MCP servers within the platform.
• Coordinate across engineering teams and document procedures.
