Job summary

OEC is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve a cloud platform for secure, scalable software delivery. You will work across IaC, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google) while integrating AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering efforts.

You will partner with engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities, ensure reliability, and implement governance for AI agents. Some travel and cross‑time‑zone collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience.
• Strong experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Understanding of networking, cloud security, Linux, and platform operations.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud platform infrastructure.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery and deployment.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
• Monitor platform health and drive ongoing operational improvements.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate infrastructure development while ensuring quality.
• Support platform capabilities enabling safe adoption of AI agents and governance controls.
• Advance observability and auditing for AI-driven workflows.
