Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Specialist for After Hour services. You will handle a high volume of inbound calls, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and document information in the EHR, while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Training is required on the first two days (8:00a-4:30p) starting 11/30/2026. 16 hours per week, Mon-Tues and Thurs-Fri, 4:30-8:30p; within one hour of St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of customer service or call-center experience.
• Ability to work from home with secure handling of patient information per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls for BJCMG practices.
• Validate and document demographic and financial information in the EHR.
• Research complex issues in the EHR and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate scheduling, insurance verifications, and forms.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
