Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Clinical Support Representative for remote work supporting primary care clinics. You will handle inbound calls, refill requests, prior authorizations, and messages in the electronic health record, under licensed provider supervision.

This full-time training role runs for four weeks (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with monthly weekend coverage, within a fast-paced ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include data entry, eligibility checks, scheduling, and coordinating with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Ability to navigate electronic health records and maintain patient privacy (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Answers a high volume of inbound calls for assigned BJCMG practices.
• Acts as liaison between patients, healthcare facilities, physicians, and staff to coordinate care.
• Validates and captures clinical and financial information in the EHR.
• Schedules patient visits based on provider preferences and updates insurance information.
• Maintains professional communication with patients, providers, and staff.
• Work considers safety-sensitive requirements and alertness.
