Job summary

Keena Healthcare Technology is seeking a part-time remote Accountant to support the Director of Finance with Accounts Payable and accounting records using NetSuite.

Responsibilities include entering vendor bills, bank reconciliation, cash flow reporting, GL maintenance, payroll reconciliation, and preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.

Required: 7+ years accounting/financial management, BA/BS in business or accounting, MS Excel mastery, multi-state experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years accounting/financial management experience.
• Experience with corporate GAAP accounting practices.
• Familiarity with multi-state accounting.
• BA/BS in business, accounting, or related field.
• MS Excel mastery.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Entering and paying vendor bills.
• Checking PO Box mail and distributing to parties.
• Managing bank reconciliation.
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting.
• Managing general ledger accounting for budgeting and reporting.
• Collaborating with HR/payroll to reconcile payroll expenses in NetSuite.
• Providing short term cash forecasting.
• Reviewing and reconciling company credit cards.
• Managing multi-state accounting compliance and CT Corp notices.
• Creating financial statements (Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) with footnotes per GAAP.
