Keena Healthcare Technology is seeking a part-time remote Accountant to support the Director of Finance in managing Accounts Payable and accounting records. The role uses NetSuite to track and record financial information and offers growth in hours for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience with corporate GAAP accounting practices.
• Familiarity with multi-state accounting.
• BA, BS in business, accounting, or related field.
• MS Excel Mastery.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and pay vendor bills.
• Check PO Box for mail and distribute to appropriate parties.
• Manage bank reconciliation.
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting.
• Manage the general ledger accounting for budgeting and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR/payroll to reconcile and enter payroll expenses into NetSuite.
• Provide short term cash forecasting.
• Perform company credit card review and reconciliation.
• Manage multi-state accounting compliance and CT Corp notices.
• Create financial statements for independent review: balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement with footnotes per GAAP.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Keena Healthcare Technology is seeking a part-time remote Accountant to support leadership and the Director of Finance in managing both Accounts Payable and accounting records for the company. The position will utilize NetSuite for tracking and recording accounting information. This position has the opportunity to grow in hours and responsibilities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Entering and paying vendor bills;
• Checking company PO Box for mail and distribution to appropriate parties;
• Managing bank reconciliation;
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting;
• Managing the general ledger accounting for budgeting and reporting;
• Collaborate with HR/payroll to reconcile and enter payroll expenses into NetSuite;
• Providing short term cash forecasting;
• Performing company credit card review and reconciliation;
• Managing multi-state accounting compliance and registration and acting as main point of contact for CT Corp, including managing Tax Withholding Notices;
• Creating financial statements for independent 3rd party to review: Balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows plus footnotes, according to GAAP accounting practices;
• Other duties, as assigned.
