Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is hiring a Manager, Parcel & Final Mile Transportation in Dallas. You will shape parcel strategy, lead carrier sourcing and procurement, and drive performance across national networks.

You will partner with Operations, IT, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver scalable, value-driven transportation solutions. You will analyze spend, develop KPI reporting and financial models, and oversee final mile, white glove, and store delivery programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in transportation, parcel operations, logistics, or contract logistics environments.
• 3+ years managing parcel programs, carrier relationships, procurement, or transportation operations.
• Proven experience negotiating parcel carrier agreements and leading procurement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of parcel pricing, including surcharges and service levels.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, freight audit, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of parcel networks, final mile service models, and delivery metrics.
• Advanced analytical skills in transportation modeling and executive reporting.
• Experience with TMS, PCIP, WMS, carrier portals, and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop Kuehne+Nagel's parcel transportation strategy across national, regional, postal, and alternative networks.
• Lead parcel carrier sourcing, RFQ, procurement, and contracts to optimize cost and performance.
• Manage strategic parcel carrier relationships and ensure compliance with SLA commitments.
• Provide SME support for carrier selection, performance management, and operational solutions.
• Analyze transportation spend and carrier performance to identify cost savings and improvements.
• Create transportation analytics, KPI reporting, forecasts, and financial models for decision making.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Solutions, and IT to ensure successful transportation execution.
• Drive continuous improvement through visibility, carrier performance, and tech/process optimization.
