Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and contract management systems.
• Experience supporting a medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Business Associate Agreements and healthcare privacy requirements.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance programs and commercial contracting practices.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams in a corporate environment.
• Paralegal certificate.
• 2 Year / Associate's Degree
• Paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years experience as a Paralegal, contract administrator, or legal operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements, including NDAs, BAAs, equipment loan agreements, and amendments.
• Identify legal and business risks in contracts and elevate issues to supervising attorney(s).
• Support contract negotiations by coordinating with business stakeholders and counterparties.
• Help design updated contract management system for vendor agreements.
• Support efforts to roll-out contract review and management software for commercial agreements.
• Administer the contract lifecycle management process from intake through execution and archiving.
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard contract language.
• Ensure executed agreements are properly stored in contract repositories and generate activity metrics.
• Assist with healthcare compliance documentation, sponsorships, grants, and charitable contributions requests.
• Serve as a point person connecting business stakeholders with contracting matters and assist attorneys on special projects.
