Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a remote Workers' Compensation Claim Consultant for Pennsylvania. The role manages a PA-based caseload from investigation to closure, coordinating with carriers and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in PA WC claims, strong knowledge of PA laws, and proven negotiation and communication skills. Remote work with standard business hours, and opportunity for growth and professional designations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.
• Experience managing claims from investigation through closure.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation laws.
• Experience handling indemnity claims.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Reliable attendance during established business hours.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust claims per standards and laws.
• Establish reserves or provide recommendations within authority.
• Review and approve medical, legal, and damage invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize and make payments within procedures and authority.
• Negotiate settlements per standards and state laws, when appropriate.
• Assist in selecting and supervising outside vendors for designated files.
• Monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
• Maintain claim diary and prepare status reports.
• Coordinate timely communication with clients, claimants and parties.
