Job summary

CCMSI seeks a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor to lead a team of seven Pennsylvania claims adjusters in a remote, Monday–Friday role. You’ll drive claim quality, ensure compliance with laws, and support professional development while managing complex cases.

This position requires deep knowledge of compensability, reserving, return-to-work strategies, and strong coaching skills. You’ll collaborate with partners to deliver high levels of service and oversee workflow to meet client standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and claim handling practices.
• Prior supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience.
• Experience handling claims from investigation through resolution.
• Understanding of compensability determinations, reserve management, medical management, litigation oversight, return-to-work strategies, and settlement negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Review, assign and supervise all claim activity to ensure compliance with standards and laws.
• Investigate, evaluate and adjust assigned claims.
• Establish and oversee reserves within authority levels.
• Oversee medical, legal, and invoicing aspects; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize and payments of claims per procedures; utilize payment programs.
• Negotiate settlements within standards and state laws when appropriate.
• Support design of outside vendor engagements and complex claim handling.
• Direct handling of litigated and complex claims; provide staff education.
• Review diary entries and supervise activity for designated accounts.
