Job summary

CCMSI in Maitland, FL is seeking a seasoned Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a full life‑cycle portfolio with 5+ years of WC claims experience. This role offers a hybrid schedule (8:00 am–5:00 pm ET) with remote options, competitive salary, and a growth path into senior claim roles.

The ideal candidate will lead investigations, guide claim strategy, and ensure timely, quality resolutions while delivering exceptional client service across systems and teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Adjuster’s license and experience required (WV, VA, GA, FL-SC and NC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and laws.
• Establish reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations within established reserve authority levels.
• Review, approve or provide oversight of medical, legal, damage estimates and invoices; negotiate disputed bills for resolution.
• Authorize and make payments of claims within procedures and authority.
• Negotiate settlements in accordance with standards and state laws.
• Coordinate with clients, claimants and vendors; monitor complex files and communications.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trainings as requested.
