Job summary

ORC is seeking a Remote - PA Utilities Title Agent to perform title searches and prepare Title Reports. You will gather documents from county records, review deeds, mortgages, easements, and tax cards, and compile reliable title information for clients in Pennsylvania.

The role requires travel up to 50% within PA, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. A valid driver's license and ability to work remotely from home in PA are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing titles and title reports
• Experience verifying property ownerships, mortgages, liens, and judgments
• Able to identify key information about parcels and communicate it clearly to property owners
• Proficient reading deeds, legal descriptions, plats, and easements; searching parcel data; and producing a chain of title
• Familiar with real estate terminology and types of title evidence
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Conduct title searches using online databases and in-person visits to county courthouses
• Retrieve and review deeds, mortgages, contracts, easements, tax cards, and plats
• Compile findings into Title Reports with complete and reliable title information
• Verify and document all relevant instruments to complete thorough and compliant title searches
