You will investigate complex liability claims, including construction liability, while supporting agents and policyholders with fair resolutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years handling Commercial Liability claims, including litigation experience.
• Experience with construction liability claims is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Experience with mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong collaboration with legal counsel and claims teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate & evaluate claims with in-depth investigations and statements.
• Manage reserving to ensure timely and adequate reserves.
• Maintain organized claim files, reports, and communications.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve fair, timely resolutions.
• Stay current on evolving statutes, policy conditions, and trends.
• Navigate a paperless Claims Management System efficiently.
• Engage in depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
