Qualifications

• 5+ years in handling Commercial Liability Claims.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based environment.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and claim-specific tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for settlements and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Investigates coverage and cause of loss for a variety of casualty claims.
• Communicates with insureds, vendors, and attorneys to resolve claims.
• Prepares settlement letters and documentation in line with policy terms and authorities.
• Monitors files to ensure timely development and disposition of claims.
• Supervises field examiners and external resources as needed.
