Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics or Statistics.
• 5+ years in P&C insurance, financial services, or consulting.
• Knowledge of reserving, pricing, ratemaking and risk management.
• ACAS/FCAS/MAAA designations preferred.
• Python or R experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as part of the actuarial team on client engagements.
• Identify reserving, pricing, underwriting and reinsurance risks.
• Review rate filings and model reasonableness for regulatory compliance.
• Assist audit teams with assessing financial statement accruals.
• Document observations and communicate with clients and project teams.
