Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics.
5+ years of professional experience in Property & Casualty insurance, financial services, or consulting.
Knowledge of reserving, pricing, ratemaking, capital modeling, and/or enterprise risk management.
Experience with complex modeling, regulatory consulting and/or audit support is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify significant reserving, pricing/underwriting, capital and reinsurance risks for financial examinations.
Review rate filings for reasonableness of rate indications and regulatory compliance.
Assist audit teams with assessing financial statement accruals.
Coordinate internal resources and advise on solutions and strategies to meet client needs.
Document observations and conclusions and ensure adherence to actuarial standards of practice.
Communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Cultivate client relationships to generate incremental business.
