Job summary

Risk & Regulatory Consulting LLC seeks an experienced Property & Casualty Actuary for a remote, nationwide US position. You will work on regulatory consulting engagements, provide insights to regulators, and contribute to advancing the firm’s actuarial capabilities.

Requirements include a mathematics/actuarial degree, 10+ years in P&C, and experience with reserving, pricing, capital modelling and ERM. ACAS/FCAS/MAAA are preferred, with strong client service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics.
• ACAS/FCAS/MAAA designations preferred.
• Experience with reserving, pricing, ratemaking, capital modelling and ERM.
• Public accounting or consulting with complex modelling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess significant reserving, pricing/underwriting, capital and reinsurance risks for regulatory examinations.
• Review rate filings for reasonableness of rate indications and regulatory compliance.
• Assist audits with evaluating financial statement accruals.
• Coordinate resources and advise on solutions to meet client goals.
