Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a permanent Outsourced Accounting Manager to oversee outsourced accounting for life sciences and biotech clients. This fully remote role is based with a focus on U.S. clients, including engagement with teams from Braintree, MA when needed.

You will manage client relationships, develop financial strategies, and prepare detailed reports while ensuring regulatory compliance. Leadership, audit, and advisory duties are core to the role, with a strong emphasis on continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably within life sciences or biotech.
• CPA certification and/or Big 4 public accounting experience is a strong plus.
• A strong understanding of financial needs and challenges of life sciences and biotech.
• Proven experience in outsourced accounting and business process outsourcing (BPO).
• Extensive knowledge of audit processes and financial regulations.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical and medical device companies is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading successful teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to a non-financial audience.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all outsourced accounting functions for clients in life sciences and biotech.
• Act as primary contact for client inquiries, providing expert advice and solutions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Work with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Assist in the audit process, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
• Provide financial advisory services to help clients make informed decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
